Trying to set up a secondary corded hotspot in my home.?

I have a wifi setup in my home. I am trying to find a way to set up another spot in my home with things like an xbox and older laptop that needs to connect using Ethernet cables. I have ok signal in that room but would like to see if I can set up another spot to connect to my "family" computer. HELP
