What else to wear with a corset and a victorian skirt?

I have the money and am very determined to buy each of these. HOWEVER. I'm not sure what else I'd wear with them; I'd want them to be practical after all. A t-shirt is tacky with a corset but I don't want to look like a tramp [I already have PLENTY of cleavage >.<]. With the skirt, I know I could wear some semi-formal tops [which I have]...I guess I just want someone else's opinion and ideas. I want to get my money's worth out of these things. :]
